Do car sellers really want to sell electric cars if they don't even have a clue about optimized charging at low spot market prices?

When we produce the first GEMINI next generation houses in 2026, how will they get to the building site? Most likely with this pick-up truck. The pre-order list for the Tesla Cybertruck is very long and it may not yet be approved in the EU in 2026.

As far as I know, the Ford F150 Lightning is currently the only vehicle in the EU with a towing capacity of 3,500 kg.

Let's estimate how much electricity a factory hall with 60 houses needs in terms of annual production just for these vehicles. If the customer is on average 200 km away from the factory building and 10 trips are required, 1 trip with the electric excavator on the trailer, 6 trips for house segments, 1 trip with photovoltaics, 2 trips for the double garage. With house segment on the trailer on the outward journey 600 Wh/km, on the return journey with empty trailer 300 Wh/km makes an average of 450 Wh/km.

60 customers times 400 km times 10 trips equals 240,000 km times 450 Wh equals 108 MWh. If the roof of a 1,000 m² factory building has a peak output of 200 kW, then more than half of this is for transportation. Without an electric towing vehicle, it would be about 36,000 liters of diesel.

The €45,000 2 cubic meter with cheap energy question

I asked this question at numerous exhibitors' stands. I deliberately asked not about electric cars, but about cheap energy. This revealed a lot of ignorance about the price of electricity. You would expect a car salesman to know how much the energy costs to run the cars he sells.

But not so with electric cars. Electricity traders at the spot market price are simply unknown. Electricity traders at the spot market price destroy two arguments against electric cars:

Electricity is expensive. No, if you charge in an optimized way at low spot market prices, you are on average using a 1.5 liter car.

Electric cars run on coal power. No, supply and demand determine the price. Spot market prices are always low or even negative when there is a lot of wind and/or solar power. Price-optimized charged electric cars therefore have a very clean electricity mix.

I once came across the sales training documents for an Opel Vivaro. Extensive training with lots of arguments. If car salespeople have no idea about the sales argument "charging at low spot market prices", then this means that the dealers don't actually want to sell electric cars.

Incidentally, I switched to Spotty Energie in December.

Eerie encounter at the VW stand

RM: Does the VW ID-Buzz have Camp Mode?
VW: No, he didn't.
RM: At least in one of the next updates?
VW: No, he won't have that.
RM: Why not, Camp Mode is a must for a comfortable overnight stay in the car.
VW: Houses are for living in.

So the VW salesman wants to make it clear to me that I should give up my desire to spend the night comfortably in the car. Then why a €60,000 ID-Buzz? If you don't want to spend the night in the car, you could take a much smaller electric car at 60% of the ID-Buzz price.

RM: The Chinese have a habit of taking an afternoon nap, so they like to sleep comfortably in the car.
VW: what do I care about the Chinese!
RM: Volkswagen makes over half of its profits in China. If you ignore customer wishes, VW can become an oversized case of Benko.

Become a shareholder of GEMINI next Generation AG

A club member donates their membership fee to the club and is happy if the club is successful. If not, I have supported a good cause.

A shareholder acquires shares in a public limited company. If the AG is successful, his shares are worth much more. In the case of GEMINI next Generation AG, his reward for supporting a good cause.

As a shareholder, employee or home buyer, you also become part of the counter-movement against many negative, anti-survival developments in our society.

One new shareholder said "I with my very modest investment", but €4,000 times €1,000 is also €4 million for all investments up to the opening of the settlement in Unken as a starting point for global expansion.

There is a reward program for recommending the share to others. Two of the new shareholders have become shareholders through this reward program.

Here are the details.
