I was just at the Intersolar trade fair from June 19 to 21. All 18 exhibition halls were occupied and there were an extremely large number of visitors. There is a clear trend away from small regional trade fairs towards large international trade fairs. There wasn't enough time between Friday evening and today for a detailed report, which will be published next Sunday. Just a first impression today. Until now, zinc batteries were only known as disposable, non-rechargeable batteries. But a Swedish company has overcome this problem. 125 Wh/kg, if the predicted price range is reached, such battery packs could be used in the GEMINI house. BASF shows NAS batteries in containers. NAS stands for sodium sulphur and they work at high temperatures, therefore only stationary and only from container size. This system was announced in 2017. Simple 48 V lithium iron phosphate batteries are already available for less than 200 € per kWh.
When Tesla was founded in 2003, it actually had much less concrete product planning than GEMINI next Generation AG 2022. It was a bet on low battery prices. In 2003, a kWh lithium battery cost €2,000. The 85 kWh battery from the first Tesla S would have cost €170,000 at the time. You couldn't even have accommodated that in the luxury class. The bet was that battery prices would fall so low that it would be possible to sell decent electric cars. First an exclusive sports car, then in the luxury class, then in the upper mid-range. Announced future models in the lower mid-range. GEMINI is also a bet on falling battery prices: Batteries become so cheap that they can pay for themselves through the price differences on the spot market.
Even though it was cloudy here on Saturday and Sunday today, there are a few hours of negative prices. Will this get worse in the future? Sure, if the expansion of photovoltaics in Germany continues like this, in two years we will also have negative prices on a cloudy working day. But the sun will set in the evening and even more photovoltaics will have to replace even more solar power. Peak load power plants have to be ramped up to full capacity in even less time. Even lower efficiency, even higher wear and tear, which will lead to higher spot market prices in the evening. Conversely, the output of peak-load power plants must be reduced quickly in the morning hours. This is also very unfavorable and therefore expensive.
1.5 MWh battery, 1.5 MW connected load, around €800,000, how is that supposed to pay off? The system runs about 3 charging cycles a day. The storage-free system of the energy transition requires more and more interventions to keep the power grid stable. This can mean that this system is paid once to feed 1.5 MW into the grid and perhaps only 1 hour later is paid to take 1.5 MW from the grid. Perhaps one of these containers will be located under the central structure of a larger settlement.
Net zero emissions means reducing greenhouse gas emissions to a level that nature can absorb. For the rich, this means Maintain poverty, cause poverty, so that enough emission rights remain for the rich.
Planetary cleanup back to 350 ppm CO2 means around 47,000 TWh of electricity to filter 1 ppm CO2 from the atmosphere and recycle it into carbon and oxygen. Who can afford that? Only a rich humanity, 10 billion people in prosperity can do it.
It is a decision between 3 directions:
It's not about whether the shares will be worth 10 times or 100 times more in 20 years' time or whether they will only be worth a few cents. It's about the future of us all. Will there be a big showdown between eco-fascism and yesterday's fossils, or will it be possible to overcome the deep divisions in society and inspire supporters of both sides to work towards a great new goal? Global prosperity and planetary restoration instead of saving, restricting, renouncing and climate catastrophe or peak oil and a little more climate catastrophe. Both sides must be convinced that there is no solution that is even remotely viable. On the one hand, it must be shown that net-zero emissions are a completely inadequate target and that the goal must instead be a planetary clean-up back to 350 ppm CO2. The other side must be shown that solar power enables a higher standard of living than fossil energy. It's about survival! The social situation in 2024 compared to 2004. Extrapolating that to 2044 makes for a horror world! If we are successful and your shares are worth 100 times more, this is just an addition to all the other achievements. One new shareholder said "I with my very modest investment”, but €4,000 times €1,000 is also €4 million for all investments up to the opening of the settlement in Unken as a starting point for global expansion. There is a reward program for recommending the share to others. Two of the new shareholders have become shareholders through this reward program. Here are the details.
My studies on off-grid fast-charging settlements have already resulted in initial contact and a video conference with the CEO of a major African company. The most important statements: “There are about 2 million homes missing” and “Solar-powered cement factories are a fascinating new idea”. There are several chances of an event that could lead to a jump in the share price. At today's share price, € 2 million would be 10,000 packages at € 200 and 300,000 shares for the buyer. However, if these € 2 million are only worth 20% of the AG, this would logically result in a very significant jump in the share price. |
