When I see that a VW Passat in the worst equipment level is more expensive than my Tesla Y SR RWD, why do I need a subsidy? When I see that in Austria a Porsche Cayenne pays more road tax than the leasing rate of my Tesla Y excluding VAT, why do I need a subsidy? Subsidies symbolize that electric cars are so bad that they have to be subsidized because otherwise nobody will buy them. Incidentally, the NOVA, Normverbrauchsabgabe in Österreich is an exemplary system. While €600 NOVA for a €15,000 petrol car is quite moderate, a Porsche Cayenne pays more NOVA than my Tesla Y costs.

I've actually been an Infinitist since the fall of 1991, I just didn't know it until 2015. Elon Musk is an Infinitist, he just doesn't know it yet. Infinitism is the exact opposite of limitism.
